Painting is not going particularly well... I have been feeling like I have to make good paintings and this expectation squashes and pressures my brain. I find myself asking "how can I make this good" rather than just doing it. I think it's because I only have a month more in my current studio space and I have a show coming up in June. (a "real" show) at a gallery.

I would really like to stop asking that question. It is NOT helpful.
