My materials challenge from MECCA

I signed up to be a part of MECCA's "Object Afterlife Art Challenge".
MECCA is a community arts center focusing on making art with recycled/reclaimed materials.
These are my objects, picked for me that I need to make something with. I'm excited and a bit baffled... shoe forms, a piece of frame and some items that look like castles?
Also went to Jon Jay Cruson's retrospective at the Jacob's gallery. Really great work.
